Poison Spyder Body Armor
Just got the Poison Spyder body armor for the rockers for my 2 dr. Just wondering what to use to paint or bedline them and the best process on how to do it. My thinking is to sand the bare steel, wipe and prep with rubbing alcohol, spray adhesion promoter then 4-5 coats of bedliner....anyone have any other suggestions?

RE: Poison Spyder Body Armor
When I painted the bumpers and sliders on my XJ I used raptor liner. Works great and is fairly cheap for 4 L and the spray gun on amazon (~$115) Just sanded and cleaned the bare metal, then 2-3 coats of primer, and about 4 coats of raptor liner and they have held up great. Depending what kind of bedliner you use and how it well it covers, you also might want to use a black primer.

RE: Poison Spyder Body Armor
Monstaliner is a similar product and can be rolled on or sprayed. Either would hold up well as long as the prep is correct but rocks will damage either finish. A cheap rattle can would be easier to touch up in my opinion, depends on how much abuse they will see.
