Mike's Cherokee Build - The Green PoS

RE: Mike's Cherokee Build - The Green PoS
I think we gotta get a trip together for this Big Grin

I have been doing a bit more research on it. I think bringing bikes along would be the best idea. Could park the cars by the cemetery where everyone parks to walk around then bike off as needed. The spot where Dan and I saw the smokestacks was where the fire started. However, if he had continued any further that way, the ground is a bit more prone to collapse. I wouldn't want to drive that way. Same with the other side of 61 with the cemeteries that we saw on the other side of 61 and the graffiti highway, hopping the barriers will put us somewhere that is prone to collapse.

On the northern end of town - we turned around by the municipal building, but there's more abandon stuff up there too.

I am totally down for another trip there. Centralia is a super cool place and there is a lot to explore and see there. Its also only 20 mins or so from rausch creek so that's awesome too.

The nice thing about bringing a bike and riding that around to explore is I can take my car which can get 40+ MPG on a trip like that.

Had it out to Tin Teepee over the weekend. Looks like I need yet another wheel bearing Sad

Found the limits again. At one point, we went through a spot on one of the trails where we had to strap to the side of the Jeeps or ride on the side to get them through. Very off camber.

Even with 700 pounds of ballast on my side, it was further off camber than that spot at RC where we almost tipped.

We kicked the kids out of the Jeeps in case of accidental rollover.

Well, since the quick disconnect exhaust mod was so popular, I figured I'd give it a go on the gas tank.
